Rhino Custom Sales Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Manager will have a strong track record of building and strengthening relationships with customers and external/third-party buyers to increase revenues from our custom rotational molding sales. He or she will be responsible for creating a revenue stream and sales funnel of potential clients, presenting Rhino as a vendor, and closing sales deals.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create revenue stream of new customers and lead/manage existing book of business using HubSpot CRM.
  • Research/pay close attention to consumer and industry trends to “look ahead” and plan. Identify emerging markets in which to develop new sales opportunities. Communicate findings with leadership.
  • Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
  • Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation.
  • Prepare annual sales budgets and projections.
  • Routinely update product pricing and margins.
  • Manage sales-related expenses.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other departments to resolve customer complaints and ensure they receive exemplary customer service.
  • Serve as the face of the organization to the dealers, external sales rep group(s), and public.
  • Organize contracts for/attend trade shows and booths; be the face of Rhino at trade shows, industry meetings and conferences (travel up to 25 percent of time).
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Five years’ experience in sales with a solid track record of achievement.
  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business management or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Roto-molding process/materials and tool build.

    • Selling methodology and technique.
    • Marketing tools and techniques.
    • Competitive product/services offerings.
    • Company policies and procedures.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk about the facility as needed.
  • Comfort and ability to be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, heat and cold.
