Senior Marketing Manager – Rhino

POSITION SUMMARY:   Content Strategy: Providing strategic direction into all content and activations that support the strategic marketing plan in capturing client attention, including (but not limited to) narrative messaging and visual identity, website pages, social media postings, blogs, podcasts, sales enablement material, event experiences, and copy, while looking across channels to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and client experience.  Develop an overall marketing plan working within established budgets, approve campaigns, and measure the return on investment of various advertising methods.



  • Identify, develop, implement the marketing brand strategy for both creative and digital direction by brand (5)
  • Hiring, Performance Evaluation & Development
    • Responsible for interviewing, hiring and new employee on-boarding for new hire success and integration on to the team.
    • Complete performance reviews and salary evaluations in a timely manner.  Make recommendations for team and individual recognition rewards.
  • Define direct reports and brand goals annually.
  • Create a Marketing Calendar of campaigns and events yearly.
  • Lead marketing campaign strategy, execution, and implementation.
  • Create and maintain budgets for each brand based on GL codes.
  • Conduct trend research to support marketing direction, new product development and competitive analysis.
  • Identify new POP opportunities at retail to tell our brand/ product story.
  • Plan, budget, coordinate, execute photo/video shoots.
  • Build brand awareness and positioning to support sales and lead generation efforts.
  • Analyze data and create dashboards in CRM system.
  • Plan and execute Trade show / Event strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to align multiple agendas, deliver customer value, business sustainability and drive growth within and across channels and target markets.
  • Ability to travel 15% of time annually.
  • Perform any other tasks or related duties as assigned.



  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in marketing with a solid track record of achievement.
  • Experience in driving and improving processes.
  • Strong understanding of the outdoor industry preferred.



  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
  • Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of production environment, including printing, advertising, and video
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM platform



  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk about the facility as needed.
  • Comfort and ability to be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, heat and cold.
